So I've been on this site for almost a year now, and since there've been a lot of new members since then, i thought I'd re-introduce myself. So anyway, I'm Kerri. My initials are K R so K R is me, hence my username. I'm a high school senior, soon to be a college student. I'm totally blind and have a guide dog named Jasmine. I live in New York, and my interests include reading, writing, singing, playing the harmonica, sports (especially baseball and hockey), dogs, computers and the Internet, and of course, meeting new people. I want a guide dog! Where did you get yours? I'm assuming at Pilot Dogs or one in New York as that's where you live.

concur on the guide dog question. I'm intending t get one myself, so I'd like to hear other users experiences. Though I chose guide dogs in california, and you probably didn't go there, hearing experiences could probably help regardless.
Hi Krisme, nice to meet you. I'm 46, the oldest regular poster on here, but oh well. Anyway, I'm totally blind, like to read, mostly suspense, gothics, and ghost stories. I still lik e reading juvenile mysteries, even if I'm past the age for it lol. Take care and have a nice evening,

Thanks for posting guys. And in answer to some of the guide dog questions, I got mine from the Guide Dog Foundation in Smithtown New york. Their website is www.guidedog.org and they should be able to answer any questions you might have. Or I can help you out in answering them.
